Anton Memoji saying "Hello"

Who I am

My name is Anton Lebedev - I’m a Product Designer with a background in civil construction project management. I come from both worlds: logic and creativity. Because of that, I’ve developed a superpower of connecting the dots easily, communicating with people of various backgrounds, learning and explaining quickly using analogies, and achieving the best results.

Why I Design

Design is my oxygen. I notice sleek design everywhere: on book and music album covers, in architecture, on store signs, hardware, etc., but the most divine of them all is Nature!

I graduated in 2012 with a Master's Degree in Engineering. Since then, I've been working with User Experience without knowing the term "UX." A significant part of my job was interviewing, managing, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and eliminate possible project threats to deliver aesthetically-pleasing solutions to my clients.

In 2018 I first learned about UX in web design and began studying until I decided to start applying my skills professionally in 2020. And here I am, thriving while designing for digital products!

Few facts about me

  • I'm very passionate about technology breakthroughs, especially endless possibilities of Extended Reality! Can you imagine that things that are not yet accessible to us like time traveling, or traveling across the universe can actually come true?!
  • World Ocean (Yep, that red hat is my little tribute to legendary Jacques-Yves Cousteau). Ocean world truly inspires me, with its many creatures and plants, how they live and interact with it, and how they adapt to different depths – Amazing!
  • I love traveling, any kind: world or local, by plane or by foot – anything would work to explore new corners and meet interesting people!
  • I get inspired by the work of talented and hard-working people, regardless of a timeline: woodblock art by Hokusai or Nirvana's unplugged concert in New York, masterpieces of Renaissance, designs by Dieter Rams, business creation by Richard Branson, ancient architecture, poetry, literature, cinema – the list is endless.
  • Reading books is another type of traveling for me. My imagination allows me to immerse myself in the setting that takes place in the book while I'm reading. Experiencing these adventures can sometimes be breathtaking for me. A great example of that would be one of my all-time favorite books: "Odyssey" by Homer.
